Jacqueline is the co-owner along with Sarah Hoffmann of a beautiful sheep ranch located atop the steep slopes of Weston, MO. Sarah and her husband bought the land in 2000 and have since created an agri-tourism business marketing its grass fed lamb and last year started producing sheep’s milk cheese.

Green Dirt farm is one of two sheep milk cheese producers in Missouri. All their chesses are made in a French tradition which means they are softer chesses than most Americans are use to. All of Green Dirt Farms lambs are pasture raised which tends to make their meat higher in protein and lower in fat. Their sheep flock is a crossbreeding of traditional dairy sheep and Gulf Coast Sheep which are a heritage breed developed in the semitropical conditions of the Gulf Coast region of the U.S. This cross breading make their sheep a perfect fit for our Midwest heat.
