CITY MARKET DOG POLICY: According to a city ordinance published in the Kansas City Missouri Food Code Booklet and provided by the Kansas City Missouri Health Department, Food Protection Program, the City Market has rules (Section 6-501.115 Prohibiting Animals) concerning dogs on the property. The rules are as follows: Within the City Market Square, pavilions, tenant walkways, stores and offices, dogs are NOT allowed. This is to maintain the health and safety of food products and for Market patrons. Dogs serving in official ADA capacity are exempt from this policy. CITY MARKET PARK DOG POLICY: The City Market Park, is NOT an off-leash park. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times! This, according to City of Kansas City Missouri city ordinance Sec.14-33. Dogs running at large prohibited. It is the owners' responsibility to clean up after their dog as well. For your convenience, waste stations are provided in the park. If bags are unavailable, please provide your own. While we strive to provide the convenient service of keeping bags stocked, it is a good policy to bring some with you. IN SUMMARY: NO DOGS in the City Market Square, ALL DOGS must be on a leash at City Market Park and please pick up your dog's poo. We appreciate your cooperation!
